Like-for-like swaps are the lane: light fixtures and fans onto existing boxes, switches, dimmers, and outlets replaced, smart devices — thermostats, doorbells, locks, switches — installed, paired, and left working. Everything tested, wall plates straight, breakers labeled a little better than we found them.
When a job goes past that — new circuits, panel work, EV chargers — we coordinate a licensed electrician from our vetted bench: we source, schedule, and manage the work, and you get one invoice and one thread.
How we approach it
Power off and verified dead at the box before anything comes apart — no exceptions. Connections are made to the fixture’s own spec, grounds carried through, and plates left flush and level rather than cocked at an angle. Smart devices aren’t done until they’re actually paired and responding on your phone, because a doorbell that installs but won’t connect isn’t installed. Where we find something outside the like-for-like lane — a warm outlet, a questionable splice, an over-loaded circuit — we flag it plainly instead of burying it behind a new cover plate.
When to book it
Stack the small electrical onto a visit as it accumulates: the fixtures waiting in their boxes, the dimmer you keep meaning to add, the dead outlet in the hallway. Grouping them means one power-down and one pass instead of a separate call for each. If the list turns out to need a licensed electrician, that’s our problem to coordinate, not yours to chase.

About an hour. We do a light inspection of the property — walking the rooms, documenting your mechanicals and appliances, noting any obvious issues — then sit down with your list and discuss how we can help. That visit starts your home's record.
How do I book a visit? How far out?
Add tasks in the app or by text, then book a half-day or full-day block when you're ready. Members typically get a visit within a week or two; the seasonal rush can stretch that, which is one reason members get priority scheduling.
How do the two plans work?
Annual Membership ($399/yr) is access: the documented walk-through, your list managed by us, priority scheduling, and the crew at $125/hr whenever you book. Handled ($499/mo) is "we run the home": everything in Annual, plus a seasonal care plan we execute in the background and 3 crew hours a month included.
What's included in the membership vs. billed hourly?
The membership covers the walk-through, your home record, list management, and scheduling. Labor is one published rate for everyone — $125/hr. For Handled members the included monthly hours come first; anything beyond bills at the same $125/hr.
