The service
Hello Handy provides membership-based home maintenance and repair services in San Francisco and the Peninsula. Membership fees, labor rates, crew surcharges, and material fees are those published on this site at the time of booking. Labor is billed for time worked; we confirm scope and any additional-tech surcharge before booking a visit.
Memberships and cancellation
Cancel within 30 days of joining for a full refund, less any labor credit used. After 30 days, annual fees are not prorated; your benefits run through the end of the paid term. Monthly plans renew month to month and can be cancelled anytime, effective at the end of the billing period. Banked hours on the monthly plan have no cash value; if you cancel, you have 30 days to use remaining banked hours.
Scope of work
We perform skilled repairs, carpentry, and maintenance. Work requiring a specialty trade license or a general contractor permit is referred to or coordinated with licensed third parties. We are not responsible for work performed by contractors you engage directly.
Guarantee and liability
If work we performed is defective, notify us within 30 days and we will re-perform it at no charge. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid for the visit giving rise to the claim.
